BioI was born in Canada and expatriated to the United States of America to study for priesthood. Not accepted for first level vows I chose to go to South Vietnam to work as a civilian in human development projects in 1967. In 1969 I repatriated to the United States of America, married, and in 1982 completed doctoral work in the philosophy and psychology of human development. My post-doctoral work encompasses academic, private, non-profit and corporate practices. To get real, I take to the road as a CDL Class A driver every now and then. Nothing like 80,000 pounds at 80 miles per hour and signs of steep hill ahead to focus the mind! I think of myself as a thinker by avocation. Peace and War are my foci these days. I am a U.S. citizen by choice and I believe strongly in the principles of limited government, separation of church and state, human rights and individual dignity as outlined by the founding fathers of our great Constitution. In my view within that framework is the template for the next order of global human governance. www.americanpeacepresident2008.com
Why I Want Gore In '08Open Letter to Al Gore Reflections, November 11, 2005jsc To: Al Gore Fr: The People's Charter Re: American Peace President 2008 The United States of America needs a realistic alternative, a vision equal to and greater than the New American Century Republican world view in play that is George Bush's Doctrine of War and Policy of Wealth. These twin entities place the United States of America, the “Titanic” of modernity, on a course of self destruction, and the Democratic Party's Doctrine of “No Doctrine or Policy” will not save the day. Had you not been denied the presidency in 2000 the United States would not be alienated from most of humanity, would be on a winning course in Afghanistan, would not be in Iraq; would not be so deep in debt, and most importantly would be working with, not against, humanity to end the Age of Terrorism. Environmental terrorism is the terror of war by any measure. If you were our president you would be proposing a plan for transforming the United Nations from a relic that served us well in the last half of the twentieth century into a global organization to meet the challenges of the twenty-first century. In your heart you know what needs to be done. Al Gore, there was a majority of us who believed you were the right man for the job in 2000. There is a growing political vacuum ready to respond to bold leadership. You have instant name recognition. You would ignite the political conscience of the nation. You must do in months what the neo-conservatives planned for years. It can be done. Be yourself and be prepared to walk through fire. Our great democratic republic is in grave danger from within and without and great measures need to be taken. It is time to report for duty, sir. This great ship of state needs your leadership. www.americanpeacepresident2008.com
