Political Chess: Impeach Bu$h in the MSM
Posted April 2nd, 2008 by BLACK CELLVanity Fair
As the first anniversary of 9/11 approached, and a prized Guantánamo detainee wouldn’t talk, the Bush administration’s highest-ranking lawyers argued for extreme interrogation techniques, circumventing international law, the Geneva Conventions, and the army’s own Field Manual. The attorneys would even fly to Guantánamo to ratchet up the pressure—then blame abuses on the military. Philippe Sands follows the torture trail, and holds out the possibility of war crimes charges.

Awaiting Al Gore at the White House.
Posted November 26th, 2007 by LindainSFNMAs everyone's eyes and ears are poised to await Mr. Gore's arrival at the White House today, the media coverage of the upcoming meeting between Al Gore and "W" Bush has started.
In a surprising piece of news coverage where it is so rare to hear the Corporate Media acknowledge the fact that Al Gore won the popular vote and that after "a tough battle ending on the intervention of the Supreme Court, Al Gore concede", this is a pretty good piece.
