Posted January 28th, 2008 by indiantomI often wonder why these people that are running for offices are afraid to talk maybe because there embarrassed of the truth. Why don't they talk to little people who have suffered from there acts of equality and freedom, that where actually restrictions of freedom and the right for an individual to earn an honest living. To me it's the law making legal thieves by using the law and justice system.

why not Kucinich
Posted October 31st, 2007 by gorewon2000I'm anxious that Dennis Kucinich is creeping up on Gore in the DFA pulse poll. What had been a decisive lead has dwindled to less than two percentage points, and counting.
I've posted a diary about Kucinich on both DFA and DailyKos, to try to take some of the steam from his engine. Please read and recommend:

My Vote is Where it Started
Posted September 28th, 2007 by monkeymanWhether it is our choice or by proxy that we have had our country taken over by mad men, the clearest chance of redemption we have is steadfast loyalty to those values we know to be lost but that we would live and die for. Our first step is to do whatever is necessary to defend this nation against the tyranny of our oppressors and to stand up with the mighty power of the heart and soul that is truly America. Al Gore represents that for me and for millions of Americans.

My Thoughts on the AFL-CIO Democratic Debate August 7, 2007
Posted August 8th, 2007 by Ecomom2008I watched the Democratic AFL-CIO debate held in Chicago last night. Overall, it was a good debate, I just think we don't learn that much about the candidates in the debate format. All we really learn about them is who is the best debater or orator.

As I look at the field
Posted July 20th, 2007 by sassydafI am new at this, but want to give a little input regarding my reasons for wanting Gore, vs any of the other good candidates. Obama is fresh, new, articulate and smart. What he is not is experienced. This is one of those times when I would feel more comfortable with a broader range of leadership experience and deep international experience. Richardson is experienced, but does not come across well on T.V. or in the forums/debates. Too bad. He might be quite good. Dodd is clearly a good guy, but he does not stand out and his experience is entirely in Congress.
Tax on Sales is fundamentally regressive as well . . .
Posted June 18th, 2007 by mwrothThe "Fair Tax" of FairTax.org is fundamentally regressive and does not allocate the tax burden proportionally according to the benefit of the social, governmental and political order. A flat tax simply on wealth, does. I ask the question as follows:
If you eliminate all taxes and fees to government in exchange for an annual tax of 2% of your net worth, would you do it? The answer is a definite yes for anyone that can do math, unless you are very, very wealthy. The reason the very, very wealthy would not make the trade is because they pay far, far less in the current system.
The Middle Class Advocate supports radical change of tax system, to a Fair Tax System
Posted June 18th, 2007 by mwrothI am so excited to see a draft Al Gore movement developing. He has shown he has courage, vision, and sophistication about issues.
