General question to everyone as a Forum Topic. WHAT IS AL GORE'S STANCE OR VIEW ON RACISM IN AMERICA? This is relevant if America is going on the premise that ALL MEN/WOMEN ARE CREATED EQUAL. Thank you. This is wanbligi.
If you had listened to Obama's speech on race, you have been able to answer your own question. With the recent fallout from the Reverend Wright sermon that was taken out of context by the media, It would be very important to hear what Al Gore's view on racism is.
I am "of color" and I live in Memphis TN. It is "the most racist city" I've ever seen. Some "Blacks" hate "Whites" and engage in racist behaviours here regularly and vice versa. It is the most awful city I've ever lived in. It is twenty to forty years behind the rest of the country in many many many aspects.
Racism only serves to point out that it doesn't work to do anything but stop all progress for everyone.
MLK Jr. was correct, but, that doesn't make what's going on here right at all, in fact, it only points out how wrong it is. Martin would have made this a better city, he's probably shaking his head in heaven now.
Perhaps this is a question to ask Al Gore himself. Personally, I find him a very caring man that isn't racist and a good leader who wants the best, absolute best for the American People. I have also found that most people who are upset about racism are actually racist themselves and haven't learned how to deal with society. Sorry - just the truth.
hate of culture and race? still?!
why does it matter what al thinks? the u.s. bill of you know what clearly states... you know what. so what does that tell you?
You say, "Why does it matter?"
