Sarasota for Gore

Please see this article in the 10/13/07 Sarasota Herald-Tribune. A week later, the reporter called me to tell me that a woman who doesn't have the internet would like me to contact her, which I did.

Pat has been in Sarasota for decades and knows a lot of people here. She was excited to make calls to the Florida Democratic Party and she came up with several ideas for contacting environmentally-conscious people in Sarasota who are likely to be interested in Al Gore for President.

It is wonderful to have the internet as a resource to network, but this lady has given me the oomph to reach out to people in my immediately area who may not know about our movement or don't have the internet. I'll be working on getting signatures on paper as well as encouraging people to seek out the websites to sign petitions.

Please join me in the endeavor. I firmly believe that Al Gore is the best candidate for what this country needs at this very precarious time in our history. I pray he heeds the call of the people.
