Another strategy for Gore
Posted November 17th, 2007 by rodbaileySince we seem to have ended our NY effort to get Gore on our primary ballot (and don't get me started on how that all came about), an idea from an Aussie (posted on www.democraticunderground.com) is to cast your primary ballot for Obama in the hopes that a deadlocked convention would turn to a Gore/Obama ticket as a compromise and a way to go forward. That has always been my dream ticket; and, if the convention is deadlocked and the Gore and Obama people are talking, this could swing all the Obama delegates (and hopefully others) to Gore and we’d be on our way.
Draft Gore New Hampshire Needs Our Help
Posted November 11th, 2007 by kerrylusAl Gore did not enter the New Hampshire primary, so his name won't be printed on the ballot.
But, Al Gore can still be the Democratic Party nominee.
How?
A group of dedicated Gore supporters in New Hampshire are organizing a grass roots campaign to encourage Democratic and Independent primary voters to write in G-O-R-E on the ballot.
The New Hampshire primary has a reputation for ending the campaigns of many front runners. The Clintons are not inevitable or invincible. Both can be beaten with a large pro-Gore voter turnout in New Hampshire.

Draft Al Gore
Posted November 5th, 2007 by LindainSFNMAl Gore has been correct about the issues long before the other candidates try to play catch up. From Social Security and the tax cut causing deficit and the need for Universal Health Care, to being the first person to speak out against the Invasion in to Iraq and being one of the first to speak out on the trampling of our rights and the overreaching powers.
Al Gore is asking to rebuild our democracy and for citizenry activism to bring about the change we need to make.

Some of my reasons for Gore
Posted October 17th, 2007 by rodbaileyI'd like to take this opportunity to lay out some of my reasons why I think Gore is the best candidate for president. He has touched on 3 of these in his recent clips on current.com, but I'll add my own perspective as to why these are important to me. But, first and foremost, Gore would be a significant environmental spokeman for the globe if he were the President. He would put the US back in a leadership role for, not only the climate issue, but a wide range of critical environmental issues that affect not only us but the rest of the globe.

Unbelievable-Hillary prods Bush to go after Iran
Posted September 29th, 2007 by kerrylusWe should circulate this as much as possible: http://consortiumnews.com/2007/092707.html
Article by Robert Parry
So let me see if I’ve got this right: Hillary Clinton, the Democratic frontrunner for the presidential nomination, is demanding that George W. Bush take a more belligerent posture toward Iran.
In her view – and that of 75 other members of the U.S. Senate – President Bush hasn’t been aggressive or hasty enough in designating a large part of the Iranian military, the Revolutionary Guards, as an international terrorist organization.

RUN AL RUN RALLY & CONCERT IN IOWA

We have performers lined up with good local name recognition and among others we expect Paul Kaplan to participate with his RUN AL RUN song. We will finance the concert from ticket sales and personal contributions. Contributions have started to flow in but we need more. No matter the size of the amount every contribution is vital. With lots of small contributions it's easier to raise funds from the larger donors.

It's show time
Posted August 9th, 2007 by gorewon2000It's time for Gore to declare.
Here in Chicago we just hosted a union debate at Soldier Field, and during breaks the campaigns had their volunteers collecting signatures for nominating petitions for the primary.
That's right, with Illinois holding its primary on February 5th, as of this week the campaigns can now begin collecting signatures to appear on the ballot.
We really can't wait anymore. The time to collect signatures for a "please run" advisory petition is over; we need signatures on real petitions now.

During the Great Depression, FDR put millions of people back to work rebuilding the USA's infrastructure. Highways, bridges, dams, railroads all were built with great public works projects like the NRA and the CCC. Its high time that many of these projects, (especially some of the outdated levee systems) were fixed.

Two New and Important Gore sites
Posted July 16th, 2007 by kerrylusHi Everyone,
I just wanted to make you aware of two new sites regarding Al Gore. The first is a blog called bloggers for Gore, I have been getting their postings for a few days now and it seems quite good. The goal is for them to have 1000 members. The focus appears to be to build support for Gore and a Gore candidacy. Here is the link if you wish to join or check it out: http://groups.google.com/group/bloggersforgore?hl=en
Our next President
Posted July 14th, 2007 by kathrynlgI think Al Gore would be a very exceptional President. He does not want to be President. He has far more freedom of expression doing what he's doing. His family has less pressure, and more freedom. In the role he has chosen, he can influence events no matter who is President. We need a Democrat in office. If all the people supporting Gore, don't vote for a candidate that wants to be President, and has a realistic chance of being elected, we will end up with another Republican administration. We cannot have that.
