Al Gore's Gas Bill

How much fuel does he use?

Today I am wondering, how much fuel does Al Gore use when he travels round to tell people about gas suffocating the planet, or promote himself as a presidential candidate?

I ask the question because I see so many scientists who do not read the data in the way Al Gore's late friend and professor did. This is not to say I think gas does not harm our planet; I am not a scientist and I genuinely do not know who is reading the data correctly. Some say the Carbon Cycle follows the variation in earth's heat and other say the heat pattern follows the Carbon Cycle.

Which is it?

Al Gore clearly believes it is the latter; and much kudos to him for making such an convenient DVD tool to get his inconvenient truth accross. Nice to see someone making an effort. But the BIG QUESTION still remains..
How much does Al Gore spend per year on gas? And as a public figure who is adamant that gas is destroying us, will he allow the public to scrutinize all of his accounts?

Given the nature of his inconvenient message, we the people, should have the right to hold him to account for his gas consumption. And if he is being a good steward of our natural resources, lets us all see his accounts and we will know in whom to place our vote. If he is not diligent with his gas usage, then we can conclude that he has either backslidden from his great green crusade, or that he may have never believed it in the first place.

On one hand I hope he is a big phoney, because it would be a terrible shame if fuel emissions really do create global warming. On the other hand, I hope that if global warming is a genuine result of human activities, that people like Al Gore will continue to speak out.

Is anybody else out there confused between the two different scientific readings and asking the same questions?
