Dr. Ron Paul

Greetings,

Just a thought I've been batting around in my head, and that is about a cross-party ticket with Gore. It seems the least Republican of the group is Dr. Ron Paul, who quite frankly will get my vote if Gore doesn't run.
I have no respect or admiration for any of the other candidates (Democrat or Republican alike). And I'm a life time Democrat, so that should tell you something.
I'd rather see anyone in office besides the lip-service lemmings like Clinton or Obama.
Now, think of the revolution it could start in this country (the good kind) with a Gore/Paul ticket. Granted they have some differences in philosophy, but both have a huge internet following and they are both feared by members of their own parties.

Anywho, that's my thoughts.

Run, Al, Run!

Jim

I have been touting the idea of a strange ticket which would include Al and Ron as running mates.

I just wish that someone "up there" would see these posts and become inspired.

______

It would be, perhaps the greatest team ever to be in the White House, and would, I believe, accelerate a return to the USA we all heard about when we were young (That is, IF you are my age ... LOL).

______

TRUE non-partisanship at the very top.

______

Balanced, logical, and intelligent execution of our government "Of the people ... By the PEOPLE ... FOR the PEOPLE" by leadership capable of "logical" reasoning.

______

What I would LOVE to see is AG and RP to meet and talk and just get to really "see and hear" each other. That could produce a very productive outcome.

______

And now you have the rest of the story .... :)

I saw Ron Paul on Bill Maher's HBO show and I liked him. Amazing he's a Republican who's not a nut job. Al Gore and Ron Paul would be hard to resist and would win in a landslide, no doubt. One of my main concerns about the 2008 election is the counting of votes again. There has been too much treachery with our election system and I don't trust it. Nobody should have to wait in long lines to vote for example. Americans should beware dirty tricks on election day 2008.

Al Gore as the Democrat

Al Gore as the Democrat Presidential nominee and Ron Paul as the Republican Presidential nominee would be a win win situation for the American people.

No matter who wins, Americans win!

I also do not trust vote counting if a right-wing neo-nut-case becomes the Republican Residential nominee. My guess is Florida will be chosen again to do the dirty work.
