and Al would be head of the Department of Enviromental Resources to Save Our Planet. Go "Green Team".
Now that's a WINNING combination!!!!!
I know this is the most important election ever, that's why I encourage Al Gore to endorse Hillary Clinton. We need to "clean up" the environment, not only in the present WH, but most importantly, our planet.
If Al Gore does not choose to run as an independent -- which is a long-shot -- CLINTON/OBAMA is a ticket who can win. OBAMA is young (so he has plenty of time to become President in the future) and his inexperience will hurt him. Gore did not get enough votes to win against Bush/Republicans, and Kerry did not have the power to convince swing voters, I feel CLINTON/OBAMA is the strongest option we have to win in 2008.
I like the idea of voting Obama/Gore, but Obama might need a more moderate running mate. I would much rather see Al as Secretary of Energy or something. That way he will be working more behind the scenes and getting things done. I've been thinking a lot about the Abraham Lincoln presidency. He had dems and republicans in his cabinet. A moderate republican on the ticket could promise more republican votes in the general election and really show that Obama wants to unite the country. Chuck Hagel maybe? I don't know. Just an idea.
I feel this is the team to win in 2008! I "like" Obama more than Hillary, but strategically, I don't see him doing what Gore and Kerry were not able to do -- become President of the USA. IMO, Obama will be a tremendous asset this time around as VP. People are more familiar with Hillary's accomplishments and credentials, and Obama will get slammed for his inexperience. He's a brilliant politician and excellent debater, but when it comes to winning swing voters (and Red States) I feel Hillary will be a more powerful choice to face the Republicans and win.. With Obama as a running mate -- CLINTON/OBAMA, seems like a winning team to me.
Im kidding (lol) about Al Gore/Ralph Nadar -- Nadar is more of an advocate (as Al Gore currently is) than a politician, he's not diplomatic enough to win. It would be amazing if Al Gore ran as an independent -- and he could win. Nadar is a powerful advocate for change and few can deny he has helped change the course of many injustices, but he did not cause Al Gore's loss. What was the excuse for Kerry's loss? With that history, in a 2-Party race, is Obama the man to win against MocCain/Rice? Break it in three -- with Al Gore as the candidate -- now that's a strategy that could win and change history and the course of the world.
Gore lost by such a close margin in 2000, and our Republican leaders cheated, the people that voted for Nadar, would have otherwise not voted. Al Gore could have fought harder for justice after the election and was undoubtedly pressured by the Democratic party to concede and they let him go down.... then there was Kerry in 2004, another decent guy and capable leader, like Obama... but he lost too.
Think about it if you think Nadar, with so few votes could have a lot of impact, what could Al Gore do as an independent candidate? ideally get enough votes to win the Presidency in 2008. I hope that's his real strategy... REAL CHANGE. If Al Gore was running as an independent would you vote for him? Could he win more than 1/3 of the votes/electoral college? I think Yes! Would that be better than another close race for Democrats and the thought of another losing battle for the Presidency, and another Republican in charge? Seems like much better odds and highly likely Al Gore would Win!!!!!
Obama lost my vote when he Flip-Flopped against single payer health insurance. People have refused to adopt run-off voting. All the candidates are status quo. Maybe Nadar was the trend setter for Al Gore to win and bring real change. If you think Nadar caused Al Gore to lose in 2000 then you need a scape goat. Green Party Members typically either vote Democrat or Independent in the booth, or don't support Republican's or Republican-lite, so those votes were not Al Gore's. Al Gore lost because it was too close, Republicans cheated, and Democrats conceded.
Who said the US should forevermore be a two party system financed by Big business, is this still working? I pray Al Gore will learn from Nadar and run a campaign as an independant and WIN!!!!!!
Obama/Gore
Obama/Gore ticket would be a winner.
CLINTON/EDWARDS
and Al would be head of the Department of Enviromental Resources to Save Our Planet. Go "Green Team".

McCain/Rice
Can Obama win against this team or we we see the third Democratic defeat?
Gore didn't capture the Red States and neither did Kerry. If John McCain and Condolina Rice team up, is Obama/? a winning ticket??
McCain/Rice
It depends. Nadar is getting in it now. We could have another 2000 on our hands.

Gore could never be VP
His brilliance would far out shine any President
