How war hero John McCain betrayed the Vietnamese peasant who save his life

McCain and the Pheasant

Strange, the photo looks like a bunch of people brought McCain out of the water, not just one or two. (This is at odds with what the story says, who had the camera, what is the story behind that?). If you brought a man out of the water and then started beating up on him, isn't it possible that you might lie and say that you saved him if you thought it would help you get lots of money or perhaps move to a country with more opportunity? Wouldn't your neighbors who helped you beat up on the guy lie for you so that possibly you would share your new found wealth with them? If you were a news reporter looking for world fame, isn't this the type of story that you thought if you just ignored a few inconsistancies it might get you what you wanted? It is hard to know what the truth here is. If I had been as broken up as John McCain was, then been held captive for years, saw my fellow prisoners tortured, it would be real hard to trust what anybody says about my capture.

Hatred and anger over politics will shorten one's life span!

Get it, John McCain would not be alive today

if it had not been for the Vietnamese man who pulled him from the water. McCain had injuries from being shot down and became entangled in his parachute in the water. Wow, it does not take a rocket scientist to understand that John McCain should be grateful to his rescuer for saving his life.

Had there not been compassion for helping John McCain, McCain would have been dirt and bones instead of now campaigning for the Republican party.

No compassion from others will shorten one's life span. (Partially your words)
