I would love to see Al Gore and Barack Obama run together. It would be the perfect combination of refreshing change and elder statesman experience and I think they would be unbeatable. Not just as VP but at the same level of influence Dick Cheney currently has with George W.

Obama/Gore?
Make that Gore/Obama. It's the only ticket that makes sense at this point. We'll see how Obama performs as V.P. and consider him after Gore has run his two terms. This is urgent. We need to rewind this country back to 2000 and try to pick up the pieces of this broken country with the man who was rightfully elected when this whole mess began.
Besides, McCain wouldn't stand a chance against Al. Gore is not only a good speaker, he's also a Vietnam vet and at the leading edge of the environmental movement in the world. He doesn't carry any damaging baggage, other than the boring blather that the tired old right-wing fools have been spewing over the years.
He's the man for these times.

I respect both Barack Obama and Al Gore
I respect both Barack Obama and Al Gore, the only problem I have with that is that Al Gore has not been mentioned lately within the Obama circle for Obama's VP.
Al Gore stayed out of the majority of this 2008 Presidential campaign and to disenfranchise the voters who voted thus far would be a mockery on the process.
