How many signed petition so far?

So... how many signatures on the petition so far? Is there a place on this site that gives the updated number of signatures on the petition?

Good grief, I can't believe there's no conversation on this board. This is one of the most exciting days we've had in months. The petition is ON FIRE since the full page ad came out in the NY Times today. Did anyone here notice?

Round up everyone and c'mon over to algoresupportcenter.com. The more the merrier. At least people are posting several times a day, which doesn't seem to be happening here.

I just read that the petition is over 150,000 now. Something like 20,000 signatures today!

Where's the link?

Send the link out to everyone you know and ask them to share it with everyone they know!

DraftGore.com

You can sign a petition at www.DraftGore.com.

Another good new site for all that is Gore is www.gorehub.com. There is also a link to the petition there.

Hey, you can also help by signing up for a group here, or elsewhere if you prefer. There are a few new Google groups, such as The Al Gore Ballots Project, and Women for Gore, and Bloggers for Gore.

Thanks for your support.

Anybody out there?

Al keeps saying that something significant must happen for him to enter the race. Hmmmm. Like someone handing him a petition with a lot of signatures on it asking (begging, pleading) him to run? How many names would it take? How many names do we have?

There are a lot of different internet sites with petitions (or do they link to the same one) and lots of paper petitions ....

How does anyone know how to get them all together and aggregate the names?

Gore 2008

Here, in California, we cannot start gathering signatures for our draft gore campaign until October 8th. CaliforniaDraftGore is well organized, but could always use more volunteers across the state. contact me: jmclinn@sbcglobal.net

More Signatures

I hope Al realizes how many people want him to run for president in 2008. If his UMBC presentation was representative of the reception he gets each time he speaks, he has to know he has tremendous support. The talk was sold out and, on average, every couple minutes the audience broke out in applause. Loud, enthusiastic applause -- accompanied by cheers! The petition is just one means of showing Al our support -- sold out venues is another, and every time Al sets a new speaking date, all the tickets are gone within hours.
