Al Gore as Secretary of Energy

I would like to start a petition for Al Gore to accept or even press for the position of U.S. Secretary of Energy. What better platform in the world could one man effect our nation's energy policy or the Planet Earth for that matter?

In my opinion, George Bush has set the U.S. and the World back eight years when it comes to energy policy, environmental planet protection and sustainability. The world tends to follow the U.S. in many matters of world politics. Yet when it comes to environmental concerns, the U.S. is not even a follower but a defiance; The Kyoto Protocol comes to mind.

If Al Gore was in this position of extreme power, great things will happen!

Please support this movement regardless of which candidate comes to power!
