No Guts No Glory... AL Gore why didn't you get in the "fight" to win the presidency ;-(

Don't get me wrong -- I've been an Al Gore supporter at this site for a long time... and have always stood by Al Gore, and still do. He is a great American. However, I feel Al and Democrats should have fought harder for justice after the 2000 election was swept away by corruption. The democrats let Al go down at that time, and Al did very little to defend himself, and I wish that had been different... but I am sympathetic for AG and understand.

Then I got involved here several years ago and had faith we were doing more than helping promote an Inconvenient Truth, but regardless I'm a sustainable development professional, and I have the greatest respect for AG's contributions as a former VP and tremendous ADVOCATE for the environment.

I had faith that AG would declare his candidacy after Live Earth. I had faith that AG would after the Nobel Prize, and he didn't. At the beginning I thought staying out of the line-of-fire was good strategy, but after awhile with all the other candidates forced to "duke it out" as we do in America in debates and on TV, I kept waiting for AG to declare. Then it looked like he'd only jump in if the people paved the way, and now I've lost faith that AG cares about being President. I still feel blessed that AG was VP and has been such an effective advocate for the environment, but have lost faith that he will step up and lead US.
