asking Al Gore to run in 2008!
Isn't it too late??
Posted January 8th, 2008 by mbrgaw2000
I thought after winning the Nobel Peace Prize he'd jump into the Presidential race w/ a lot of momentum, & considering the other candidates, probably ride it to victory! Is he still resentful of the 2000 results, somewhat... cause he could do a lot more as President than a private citizen?! We need a lot of change throughout the whole world, because this is really ridiculous, when one steps back & looks at it... we're on a downward spiral!! In the Deeper Truth... We're All God's Family, or by whatever name one calls the Good & Holy Creator of All~
Meanwhile back at the ranch, as the primaries are already in full swing is it not too late to enter in? Does anyone know the rules about this? If not Democratic, why not Independent?

With all due respect to Al Gore, we have to be realistic here. The delegate and superdelegate count for each of the Democratic nominees, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, are approximately at 1700 and 1500 respectively. The magic number for the Democratic Presidential Nomination is 2025.
From my understanding the delegates won from each respective state are pledged delegates meaning that those delegates are pledged according to the primaries and caucuses held to date and cannot be changed.
Now the superdelegates of which there are approximately 800 in number are the ones that can be changed anytime. The point of the matter is that Al Gore as far as I know has no delegates won in any of the states because he chose not to be on the ballot. So the scenario of the Democratic National Convention in Denver not having a clear winner at the time of the convention maybe a possibility, but for either Obama or Hillary that trail to the nomination will be very near the 2025 necessary for the nomination, whereas Al Gore would not have any delegates at the time of the convention at his own choosing to not be on the ballots in all the state's primaries and caucuses.
I know alot of us wanted Al Gore as President, but the realism is the 2008 Democratic Presidential Nominee will be either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton.
Al Gore is one of the superdelegates and understands the role of the superdelegates and you can bet that Al Gore will have an impact on helping those undecided superdelegates make their all important decision on which of the two remaining Democratic candidates will get those remaining votes. All our prayers should be with the whole process as we move forward to its completion. Once that decision is made in Denver, we as Democrats need to unite around the nominee so that we can take back the White House in November 2008. Thank you.
Michael, help us

I'm not sure who you are or where you're from, but you could help an effort some of us have started to get Gore's name in the minds of lots of super delegates as the compromise/peace candidate who can actually win for the Dems. in November. You could help this effort by, first of all contacting me directly so I don't have to go AGO like this to to contact you (although that's fine if you want to keep doing it that way). Second, what I'm suggesting to people in different states is to start gathering what info. you can on the super delegates from your state - names, addresses, phone numbers, e-mail addresses (if available). I'm doing it for NY. The following site has a complete list: http://superdelegates.org/DNC_Members . I'm putting the NY info into a spreadsheet that I will then circulate to folks I've been in contact with here in NY and ask them to contact anyone who is local to them and urge the super delegates to at least start thinking about Gore as a compromise/peace/healing candidate for the Party before it completely blows itself up over the Hillary and Barack thing. I'm proposing that a Gore/Obama ticket would be a guaranteed winner in Nov. and
still keep the enthusiasm that Obama has generated with his candidacy (I think). You can contact me directly at rbailey22@rochester.rr.com . Thanks in advance.

FACE REALITY-GORE KNOWS THE TRUTH
Al Gore fought these people one time. He would be up against the terrible denial of the American people. I don't think he wants to face that again.
You're forgetting he already won the presidency one time but it did not do any good. We the people of this country knew it was fraud but we stood by. Then it happened again in the next election. Improper voting machines and no way to recount the votes and yet we still sit back. The states that would decide the election were already known and announced before they ever even voted. It's like we don't get it.
We've accepted one lie after another. We put the Democrats back in control again and what have they done to show us anything has changed or will change. Why would any man want to be back in among this group of leaders in Washington such as we have and have to take the blame for what they are actually responsibile for.
We didn't stand up and fight for Al Gore then. Why should he fight for us now. He seems to be happy doing what he's doing. Why not let him enjoy the rest of his life. He's making it just fine without us.
HELL ON EARTH!

We the People voted for our HERO, Al Gore! Our votes were stolen from us, and him!
What the hell could we do to save us all? All that we could do is throw up and go on.

The Bible will tell you who he is.Where did Obama come from? Out of nowhere, do we know him?Who is his Father and where did he come from? Where can we buy our Berkas?
The Bible also says
Thou shalt not bear false witness. From Wikipedia:
Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. (pronounced /bəˈɹɑːk huˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/;[2] born August 4, 1961) is the junior United States Senator from Illinois and a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the 2008 U.S. presidential election.[3][4]
Born to a Kenyan father and an American mother, he spent most of his childhood in Honolulu, Hawaii. From ages six to ten, he lived in Jakarta with his mother and Indonesian stepfather. A graduate of Columbia University and Harvard Law School, Obama worked as a community organizer, University of Chicago lecturer, and civil rights lawyer before running for public office and serving in the Illinois Senate from 1997 to 2004. After an unsuccessful bid for a seat in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2000, he announced his campaign for U.S. Senate in 2003.
The following year, while still an Illinois state legislator, Obama delivered the keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.[5] He was elected to the U.S. Senate in November 2004 with 70% of the vote.[6] As a member of the Democratic minority in the 109th Congress, he co-sponsored bipartisan legislation for controlling conventional weapons and for promoting greater public accountability in the use of federal funds. He also made official trips to Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In the current 110th Congress, he has sponsored legislation on lobbying and electoral fraud, climate change, nuclear terrorism, and care for returned U.S. military personnel. As of February 21, 2008, Obama had sponsored or co-sponsored 570 bills in the 109th and 110th Congress, of which 15 have become law.[7]
Since announcing his presidential campaign in February 2007, Obama has emphasized ending the Iraq War while maintaining a strong defense abroad, increasing energy independence, and providing universal health care as major priorities.[8] He married in 1992 and has two daughters. He has written two bestselling books: a memoir of his youth titled Dreams from My Father, and The Audacity of Hope, a personal commentary on U.S. politics.[9]
