Lost the faith

Like many Americans(myself included), Al Gore has lost faith in our political system and that's why I believe at a perfect moment for him to shine he dropped the ball and isn't running for president.

At this point

I would like Gore to interject some points and confront the whole lot of them to get to the issues. Love to see Gore moderate a debate. Don't think he's running. And that is truly disappointing I don't know what else to say. At this moment I'm leaning towards Edward's perhaps in part because he is the underdog.

He is Running

Does anyone agree with me that he is waiting to get in the race as late as possible. If Obama has say 25-30% of delegates, he can tie up the convention, broker it for Gore, and its a Gore Obama ticket. He hates the Clintons, they did not help him in 00, etc..He is in a position to win, everyone else will use up most of their money in the Spring. Seems pretty obvious what is going on...

Al jumping in late to: He is Running

I think your dreaming if you think Als running, unfortunately I think he has a bad taste in his mouth after 2000. also he is an honest man and realizes that the powers that be willnot let anyone get elected who dose not play ball. the last tme that happend it was the kennedys and we all know how that turned out.

Hope you are right

Yankee Doodle's picture

I hope you're right. Neither Hillary nor Obama will beat John McCain or any Republican. Why don't the Democrats get it. A Gore-Obama ticket would be a landslide winner.
And while I'm at it, where have the issues like impeachment, the Iraq war and the value of the dollar gone?

I've been reading some Gore family history

this week in Gore Vidal's "The last Empire" , given that this is something I didn't know much about ; he's got some interesting perspectives on this for anyone that's interested .
