I belong to several singing groups. In the quest for "new music" a friend gave me a 4 CD's with the music of WWII. Songs like "Remember Pearl Harbor" "Arms for America" "The Man Behind the Man Behind the Gun" and other great inspirational songs of wartime.
The music, and the spirit of unity in the country was unmatched. We were fighting the biggest and most important global war ever...to date.
Americans had to Sacrifice, Support, Work, and band together. The President United the country against the common enemy, the Evil Axis of Facism.
Here we are in 2007, six years after the horrifying events of 9/11/2001. An the Retard who is president still hasn't captured Bin Laden, and America is no closer to "Winning the War On Terrorism". What's that war in Iraq about? Avenging his father? Certainly can't be about oil, since prices at the pump have skyrocketed since "Mission Accomplished..."
Bring our Boys back home Mr. Gore. Put our Marines defending our border and the Navy and Coast Guard defending our waters. Let the Army rebuild our bridges. Maybe a peacetime draft wouldn't be such a bad thing, if we successfullly rebuilt America, rather than trying to unsuccessfuly rebuild other countries...who dont' want us there or appreciate us.
Maybe WWII was a terrible time, millions dead, Europe in ruin. But we knew who we were then. We were ALL AMERICANS!

We actully won that war, and the people of this nation were united, and, maybe this is the key, were EDUCATED. The present group of fascists that are ruining this country have dumbed down the education system so bad in this country that it is a miracle that kids these days know how to wipe their butts properly.
Iraq is about oil, and here is how and why, so you will understand. The price of oil and/or petroleum based products is high for the purpose of those who are invoved in the oil market can make a klling from it. Guess who is in the oil business.
Also, with the advent of the Federal Reserve, and the fact that our currency, the dollar, is no longer based on the gold standard and is actually backed by a deal which was struck with the oil producing nations that all oil be purchased excclusively with American dollars, makes our American dollar's value based on oil, gives the fascists a reason to want to control the oil market and the world's oil reserves.
One of the reasons that Saddam Hussein and Hugo Chavez are targeted by the US is that they would not go along with the deal of dollars equal oil. That is why the war in Iraq is. Period. Who else is not going along with this program? Iraq's neighboring country ... Iran. I wonder why we are being told that we need to make war on them ... DUH ... !
If someone would get into office and do away with the Fed Reserve, which by the way is not Federal, but is a private banking group, and return our dollar to the gold standard, we would then see a whole new attitude as far as fossil fuels.
This whole world is so deeply corrupted by the greed of the neo conservatives in this country and England, that it will be a miracle if anyone can ever truly bring peace and logical reasoning back into play again. Hence, we are under the control and rule of some very dangerous criminals that make Hitler look like a choir boy.
The Bush family is a crime family from way back, and Cheney only escaped possible criminal indictments by becoming G W Bush's running mate in 2000.
Some intense research will verify everything I am saying here.
I also feel that the main reason why Al Gore MIGHT NOT run is not because of what he is doing, but because of what he knows to be true. And that, paradoxically, is why we need him so desperately to run.
Now ... go do some searches and you will see that I am right.
