Our next President

I think Al Gore would be a very exceptional President. He does not want to be President. He has far more freedom of expression doing what he's doing. His family has less pressure, and more freedom. In the role he has chosen, he can influence events no matter who is President. We need a Democrat in office. If all the people supporting Gore, don't vote for a candidate that wants to be President, and has a realistic chance of being elected, we will end up with another Republican administration. We cannot have that.
I personally support John Edwards, as not only do I support his ideas, and his wife's (who is half the team), he can get the votes. We need a Democrat in office. One that can be elected by the citizen's, not the Supreme Court.
I don't like "Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton." The country is not a monarchy. There are enough viable citizen's that this country should not be controlled by two families for that long a time. The right genetalia is not a pre-requsite for a President. As much as I admire Senator Clinton, keep her in the Senate. We need her there. The same with Obama. His backing is . . . We need a Democrat that can be elected and can restore our country to the freedom's that are outlined in the Constitution.
If you don't support Edwards, then by all means support another Democrat. After the Nomination, everyone should support that candidate. We need a Democrat.

Gore never said he didn't want to be president

YOU are saying that. As a matter of fact, he has been quoted as recently as June to have said he "would love to be president".

He has also said he doesn't need to run a 600 day or a 500 day campaign.

and then there is this acknowledgement, ""I am under no illusion that there is any position in the world that approaches that of the president of the United States in terms of its inherent ability to influence the course of events,"

You should no better than to troll your lies for another candidate on this blog. Do you think that really wins over any support?

Time for a COOL change,
Al Gore
