I signed up for the San Diego Group today because I live in San Diego. But I have a physical handicap which prevents me from getting out as much as I would like. I got to thinking that there are probably a lot of others in the same situation and if we could form a group we could not only help with blogs, letters, phone calls on our own, but we could volunteer to help groups in our respective areas AS A GROUP to do those administrative tasks and thereby freeing up the others to go out and walk, to be more active.

When you consider Al Gore, when you think about Al Gore, his passion for the environment comes to mind. And when you think about it.............if you want to pick up the pieces left by Bush, you have to start with the basics, you have to fix who we are and what we are and what we want by starting with the fundamentals and where better and more necessary than the environment.

Al Gore "gets it"..................he has always understood what we wanted and needed but I think finally the average American has just now started to "get" him.
