Fed Up

I have watched with great pains as each candidate comes out with his/her beliefs. Most often, having the government support too many things at the cost of the citizens. I do believe that every citizen should have access to insurance. Medical costs are exuberant! However, I don't believe that a fully funded program is the answer. Our country was founded on the belief of free enterprise. With government regulating such things as health care, the basis of free enterprise dramatically decrease.

I believe there should be a tailored approach to health care. I am not sure how to address it--but it should give people a choice as to the type of health care they want and who they want to provide it (i.e, giving us the choice gives us the value of what our nation stands for on free enterprise and health competition).

I am a diabetic and I have epilepsy. By no means do I ignore this issue. If I am not employed, I have no insurance. It sucks. To try to even obtain insurance, it would cost me too much money. It is not affordable. Again, I believe in the premise of healthy competition and free enterprise--but I also believe it should be our choice if we want health care or not. And, no matter how good or bad our health is, we should always have access to obtaining health insurance.

I also believe that Al Gore has what it takes to redirect our country, focus on America, pull our troops out of Iraq, and bring unity to many countries through the common goal of educating and support global efforts on environmental issues.

I have so much to say about many things...this is just a start! Whew. Will say more another day.
