There are many who need just a few to do well

That's how I see it. Therefore, we should not be talking revolution, but, pandering. Best to make sure the few who are 'in charge' realize their need for us all to well do. For, if we fail, they fail. And we're failing. Failing, in every way. We are dying. That was my blog entry, in brief, not long ago. Only, in addition, I sort of hinted I don't think Mr Gore is helping by patenting the climate crisis in people's minds as himself. The danger is great, they will throw him out with the bath water.

Mr Gore and Presidentship

I wrote a blog entry last night, and, it was removed. I now repeat what I said then. We need more people to stand up and make it count, when it comes to promoting the insistence that climate change work for us all - and, Mr Gore has been very loud. I ask that others be promoted, and I liked that RFK Jr. spoke loudly. Please, do ask others to do their best, and do not be the only spokesman, that you may be completely identified with this cause. Others must work, and not just Mr. Gore. That's my opinion, how Dare this forum and blog editorship take away decent contributions. I am angry.

Rising Tide

Thanks, LindainSFNM. I knew of Native Energy - and was thinking about it - but I remember I was turned off it, a few months ago, when I read only of wind turbines and farm methane. I was very much against wind farms, and still am, most places on the planet - they create a lot of problems, although they solve many. But going back, I see that this company works with the tribes, and in great areas. I will give to them! But I'll also give to http://risingtide.org.uk/support - Rising Tide, a great organization I came across while looking for a good place to bestow my money, such as it is.

about carbon offset...

I'm a little concerned, I just saw this: http://www.ft.com/cms/s/48e334ce-f355-11db-9845-000b5df10621.html while I was looking to choose a carbon offset company to send my ten bucks to, and, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend a good company, preferably one which plants lots of trees? Thank you!

campaign song idea

I like this song. Is the way I feel when I think of how we all must feel, laying awake at night in horror at the world, or more likely, dozing to avoid everything, or even, drunk off our asses and toking away, or even maybe, taking a well-deserved vacation from our hard work supporting the best candidate. : - ) Anyway, this is a great song I heard on the radio, and I forget the group, oops... : - / (will credit later). Anyone got other songs to suggest?

What a drag it is
The shape i'm in
Well I go out somewhere
Then I come home again

I light a cigarette

I'm back

...and I'm so proud. I am definitely searching for a way to say it: Run! That's it, best I got. Please?

Last Night

...I dreamed a dream. Al Gore was on the cover of a magazine, the Economist I think it was, a full portrait but he looked young and slim and he was sitting on a chair backwards, you know, arms akimbo on the chair back. It was saying he was going to play. As in run for office. And it was in Dutch, too, somehow, and was a bigger magazine than Econmist - "Al Gore Maak een Keuze" it said, I think, which I think is proper Dutch (I ain't learned yet, though I live here now) for "Al Gore makes a choice". So. There. I felt, in my dream, it was one of the greatest moments of my life.

Obama?

I wonder sometimes about Obama - and don't know, how popular is he with the African-American 'community'? I wonder, because his father is Kenyan - his experience is not typical. I wonder, should he be the best candidate? If Gore does indeed choose not to run, I mean. I think Gore should run. If he does not, it will only be because he is called elsewhere, to do other things, doing as much as he can for us all, and I know that. Also, though, he may feel that the whole game is fixed - and he cannot buy it. Or would not. Obama, though?

Sustaining ourselves

I'd like to talk about such a thing as yet has not really hit the big time, in the world of public thought and opinion. Sustainability, it is. It's the word. I don't hear it.

Our future is only a pipe dream, if our current ways are not sustainable.

Let's talk about it.
