why not Kucinich
I'm anxious that Dennis Kucinich is creeping up on Gore in the DFA pulse poll. What had been a decisive lead has dwindled to less than two percentage points, and counting.
I've posted a diary about Kucinich on both DFA and DailyKos, to try to take some of the steam from his engine. Please read and recommend:

I freely acknowledge it's a "hit piece" on Representative Kucinich, and so may violate our rule about staying above the fray, but at no point in it do I admonish the reader to instead be for Gore-- so I'm hoping it won't make our campaign look bad. Anyway, I try to keep to issues of substance and avoid pettiness.
If there are Kucinich supporters on this list, I don't mean any disrespect. Feel free to comment on the blogs where you think I've gotten it wrong.
We have less than a week before DFA closes their poll. If you haven't voted in it yet, please do:

I'm hoping Gore hangs onto his lead. I will feel a little vindicated by that, if it turns out that...

declaration
Once Al Gore declares himself a candidate he will rise above everyone in the pole. He's in second because people have to write him in, but he's still well ahead of Hillary and Obama. I like Kucinich's ideas, but he doesn't have the presidential stature or qualifications anywhere near Al. Kucinich has a hot wife, I'll give him that.
Thank you
Yes, it is all usually about DK himself.
I don't know we can change the numbers unless the groups send out another message reemphasizing to vote by "clicking on Other and writing in Al Gore" and that you don't have to be a member of DFA to participate in the vote". Because, his numbers jumped in a day by 7000 votes. Something else is going on so I don't think we can change them who have voted, but we can get some of the many hundreds of thousands who have signed the petition.
Side note, on the DFA diary, the first paragraph is duplicated and may want to try to fix. I know their software if very difficult to use and that may have caused that, but thought I would let you know.
Rec's done on both!
