Live Earth Planning
We have identified an organization called IGLO (International Action
on Global Warming) http://www.astc.org/iglo/
IGLO is a project of the Association of Science-Technology Centers,
an international organization of science centers and museums
dedicated to furthering the public understanding of science.
More importantly, IGLO is now an educational partner of Live Earth.
As a result of this, the following ASTC science centers are planning
to have live feeds of the Live Earth concerts:
Discovery World at Pier Wisconsin
Louisville Science Center
Pacific Science Center (Seattle)
Maryland Science Center
The Monterey Bay Aquarium will have a film program from National
Geographic's Strange Days on Planet Earth series to be shown in the
auditorium.
Here in San Diego we have discovered that there are many IGLO members
across the nation who do not currently know about IGLO's association
with Live Earth. We need to inform them. As a result our inquiry with
the Reuben H. Fleet Space Museum and Theatre, they are now working to
establish the live feed.
In order to identify potential ASTC/IGLO members in your state, go
here and search by state:

In addition, we are contacting DFA, MoveOn, Sierra Club, colleges and
universities to make them aware of the opportunity to participate in
the "Friends of Live Earth" program. More info here:
