I Call it Divide & Concur

Pugnacious Poli-tricks By Wrong Wingers

This is just another example of how many conservative leaders will say anything to make their point. Don't forget how the members of an organization like this will blindly follow thier leader lead.

Catholic League President, Bill Donohue, master the art of pugnacious attacks. He trashes Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee for his campaign ad, while his organization cleverly release a propaganda piece listing examples of what they call, "War on Christmas Continues." We know who Donohue wont be voting for in the up and coming primary election.

Huckabee Stands by Christmas Ad
By LIZ AUSTIN PETERSON
Associated Press Writer
HOUSTON (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee on Tuesday defended his Christmas ad amid suggestions that the ordained Baptist minister had gone too far mixing religion and politics.
The ad, which is airing in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina, shows Huckabee in front of a Christmas tree as he says, "Are you about worn out by all the television commercials you've been seeing, mostly about politics? Well, I don't blame you. At this time of year sometimes it's nice to pull aside from all of that and just remember that what really matters is the celebration of the birth of Christ and being with our family and friends."
Huckabee is courting evangelical voters and other religious conservatives in his bid to win the Iowa caucuses Jan. 3. In Texas for a fundraiser, he said the ad was a harmless holiday greeting even though it excludes other religions.
"If we are so politically correct in this country that a person can't say enough of the nonsense with the political attack ads could we pause for a few days and say Merry Christmas to each other then we're really, really in trouble as a country," Huckabee said.
Catholic League president Bill Donahue said Huckabee went beyond wishing people a joyous holiday. Donahue said he was especially disturbed by the cross-like image created by a white bookcase in the background of the ad, saying he believed it was a subliminal message.
"What he's trying to say to the evangelicals in western Iowa (is): I'm the real thing," Donahue said Tuesday on Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends. "You know what, sell yourself on your issues, not on what your religion is."
Huckabee said the bookshelf is just a bookshelf and shrugged off the controversy: "I will confess this: If you play the spot backwards it says, 'Paul is dead. Paul is dead.'"
He was joking about the Beatles' recording of "The White Album" and the urban legend that if a portion of the album is played backwards, the words "Paul is dead" is heard, a reference to the very much alive Paul McCartney.

WAR ON CHRISTMAS CONTINUES

December 17, 2007

As the following examples indicate, the war on Christmas is not over:
· After one person complained about a nativity scene in Shawnee State Park in Ohio, the state parks’ chief ordered a ban on crèches from all parks. It took the governor to overturn this decision.
· In Wesley Chapel, Florida, Jesus was banned from a holiday display.
· The mayor of Cranston, Rhode Island censored all religious displays.
· Government officials in Tehama County, California tried to ban Santa in office displays but had to reverse their decision after a protest.
· A nativity scene in Olean, New York was removed from the City Hall lawn after Wiccans placed the pentacle alongside it.
· A crèche was banned from Triangle Park in Manistique, Michigan.
· After a Catholic sued and won demanding a crèche alongside a menorah in Briarcliff Manor, New York, local officials banned both the Christian and Jewish symbols.
· The Dickens Christmas Festival in Saginaw, Michigan was renamed the Dickens Holiday Festival so the city could advertise in local schools. The schools ban the words “Santa,” “Christmas” and “Nativity.”
· Atheists Alliance International put up a tree on the lawn of Chester County Courthouse outside Philadelphia with copies of the covers of books saying, “Why I Am Not a Christian,” etc.
· Americans United for Separation of Church and State is trying to block the display of a crèche in Shelby County, Alabama.
· Freedom from Religion Foundation is trying to stop the display of nativity scenes in three Wisconsin towns.
Catholic League president Bill Donohue commented as follows: “The cultural fascists are still at it, but the good news is that more and more Americans are fighting back.”

Rush does the Insider Shuffle

By Black Cell

The insiders on the right have a problem & his name is Mike Huckabee. He hapens to be the Republican candidate for President who fit the model of a Ronald Regan Consevative, more than any ot the other candidates. His campaign is making a lot of headway becuase most Conservative voters trully believe in the values that people like Rush Limbagh only market too.

Many of the Republican insiders like Limbaugh want to give the impression that they aren't insider. Yes, he is an insider. That is why so many typical Conservatives love him so much. For most Conservatives, Limbuagh speaks their messenger, most Conservatives tend to really get behind a person or group that speaks their language.

Limbaugh represent one of most powerful factions within the Republican movement. They have been the leaders in harassing & spinning political propaganda for the so called Republican Machine for years. One of the more interesting things about the Limbaugh faction of the Republican insiders is that they have already gotten their big payday in 2000, so money has less value, they are mainly intersted in big power. That is the reason why it's all about Giuliani, not Huckabee, or any other Republican candidate.

The "Machine" has chosen Giuliani as the Republican leader for their Party. They don't care what Giuliani has represented in his past, because they, the Conservatives in the MSM, have already put all of their eggs in one basket, or should I say in one candidate.

Huckabee presents a big problem because he forces the mainstream Conservative movement to attack him. Mainly, because they consider him to be a candidate that doesn't have a chance to win the White house. They will treat any member of the Republican Party like dirt if they happen to disagree with them on major issues that they deem to be relivant. For example, the war on terrorism.

Watch how Huckabee's record get dragged threw the dirt, while the Conservatives leaders in the MSM conveniently ignore Giuliani's record. Giuliani's record happens to be far more out of the line with the values many Conservatives like to toute. You know that, who is the closest candidate to a Ronald Regan style Conservatism skit. They, the conservative leaders, also want to give the false impression that a persons religious shouldn't matter, while they force a candidate like Mitt Romney to give speeches about how religion should not be a major issue in this up coming presidential election.

It's my belief that Rush's power derives from the fact that he has given a voice to an extremely large number of White Conservatives, White middle class Americans who don't see America from the same perspective as other White Americans, most of these Conservatives live in the rural areas around the country. Their propaganda also has a lot to do with a culture war against Liberal ideals like diversity, multiculturalism & immagration.

The major leaders in the Limbaugh crowd have many things in common, but the one I am going to write about is how Limbaugh use his power in the MSM to manipulate the masses with his propaganda.

Lets take a closer look at how the man who is desperately pursuing the truth operate.

Rush regularly like to misinform his listeners with what I will call "marketing slogans." I believe that he use dishonest slogans to denigrate the Democratic Party. Here is an example, "The Libs can't debate the issues. The Libs don't want to debate the issues because they can't win." That's Baghdad Rush saying one of his finest forms of dishonest slogans. It totally ignores the many debates surrounding EVERY issue in politics. Issues like the Fairness Doctrine & how it is commonly known that he has a policy of not allowing debates over the air with Democrats that don't fit into one of his false impressions of Democrats. The point he was trying to make was that he wants his audience to believe that Democrats would rather attack the charactor of a person other than debate issues.

Limbaugh has another skit claiming he is in desperate pursuit of the truth... Wow! What a way to package a slogan. A slogan that would be considered pure propaganda in third world countries because of the long distance between the lie, that many of them tell, & reality.

The combination of Faux News, the Christian broadcasting networks & Conservative Talk Radio shows give the Republican Party the powerful outlets to, tipacally, manipulate the masses into supporting their candidates by any legal means nessisary in order to win, telling a lie isn't illegal in America.

The Rush types like to give you the impression that if it weren't for the President's foreign policy, the Democrats would be cutting & running. They also want to give the false impression that we are winning a war that actually made sense back in 2003, when they were convinced that Sadam Insane had weapons of mass distruction.

Back in 2006, many of the Conservatives used their power to manipulate the masses in an attempting to convince many of us that the war in Iraq was going in the right direction. The Limbaugh crowd followed the presidents lead during the time when honesty had very little value Bu$h & Cheney as they wrecklessly made weak attemps to give the false impression that the war in Iraq was making positive progress while the daily news services showed examples of large numbers of Iraqi civilians being killed on a daily basis in Iraq.

Now they are desperately pursuing the illogic of how the Libs don't want to talk about the war now that Bu$h's policy is working. Those kind of statements are the epitome of false advertisement. Rhetoric like that should be banned from mouth of those whom are in desperate pursue of the truth.

If Mr. Limbaugh were relentlessly, or desperately pursuing the truth, he would have came to the same conclusion as one of his other Conservative heroes William F. Buckley. Rush once regard Buckley as one of the Conservatives who taught him the philosophy that he calls Conservatism. One really wonders what was going on in Buckley's mind when he decided not to continue supporting the folly many of us call, " The War On Terrorism." Did, Conservative intellectual, Buckley have one of those founding father moments were he had to make a choice between love for country or political party.
